@Russ could you walk me through how to do this in simple terms and lots of clear step by step instructions? I've never used these softwares before so you can imagine how confusing this is for me to understand without having any experience doing anything remotely similar to this.
@karnold69 I stopped using windows for my X10 control some time ago. But prior to that I know I had disabled windows driver updates and that solved issues with windows updates for me.
Another option is to use software for X10 that doesn't use X10WTI CM15A drivers.
Things that use Mochad or Mochad itself, or HomeGenie that has it's own drivers(which I use)
@Russ
It worked. The error was in credential.json, TRIGGERcmd couldn't find the file, so I entered the data directly into the python file.
Good job. Thanks for the help my friend.
@Marcos-Vinícius, I've actually never seen that. Can you send a screenshot showing it's offline?
One thing you could try is unlink and re-link your TRIGGERcmd account. It's under Home control under the Assistent tab in Assistant settings.
My switches look like this:

It's not on the Slack App Directory yet, but you can start using it now.
EDIT: It's in the Slack directory now.

I have two monitor, is there a way to turn off just my second monitor?
So this is basically what I need, did you manage to do this?
I want to play games on my TV which is one of 3 monitors I have. And i want to turn off both monitors to have only the TV i'm using to game
Okay, the command lines you provided work, and I also changed my command word to just "shut" so Alexa can recognize it better. Overall, thanks a lot for helping me, TriggerCMD is definitely a great tool for the raspberry pi.
@Russ said in Timeout not working in TRIGGERcmd:
echo %1 >> c:\tools\params.log
That is exactly what is happening...and I can't find a way to get her to pass a number instead of text...she just takes the first word after "parameter". I may have to just go with a number of set durations for the timer...thanks for your help.
