    W10 64 fully patched with BitDefender

    Hi there!

    I used the Update Agent option and it triggered the antivirus (that quarantined TriggerCMD).

    Even after restoring from quarantine, it stopped working (I think that the restore option from the AV didn't work). Shortcut also missing the target executable.

    Trying uninstalling it and installing again, no joy (install fails).

    The dialog has an open log for details option, but the file opened (%user%\AppData\Local\SquirrelTemp\SquirrelSetup.log) h as no new logs (last timestamp is from 2023-07-13.

    Any ideas?

    thanks in advance!

      @StealthNet , your commands and other configuration are safe. When you uninstall, those remain in %USERPROFILE%\.TRIGGERcmdData.

      I suggest you try this:

      1. Temporarily disable BitDefender.
      2. Uninstall TRIGGERcmd Agent.
      3. Delete %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\TRIGGERcmdAgent
      4. Reinstall TRIGGERcmd Agent.
      5. Re-enable BitDefender.

      My theory is the old files in %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\TRIGGERcmdAgent are getting in the way, so deleting those would help.

        @Russ it worked! Thank you!

        Any path suggestions to exclude from AV?

          @StealthNet, yes, good idea. To avoid that problem when you update next time you could exclude those two folders.
