When I send a command to Google Home it replies with "OK getting trigger command". I would like it to be completely silent or simply play a short single tone to acknowledge it received the command. Is there a way to do this with trigger command?

Is the Goolge Home TriggerCMD app working?posted in General DiscussionFor the last week or so every time I use TriggerCMD on Google Home it responds with "Trigger Command is unavailable". Earlier today I tried sending/reinstalling the TriggerCMD service to my Google Home again and reinstalling on my host PC but I am still receiving an error with every command I speak to it. Is the latest version of TriggerCMD on Google Home broken?

Is there a way to have Alexa routine setup computer to sleep mode?posted in General DiscussionI already have a script that forces my computer to sleep and have a trigger command called "sleep" that will put the computer into sleep mode. I have an Alexa routine called "Alexa, good night" that turns off all my lights and turns down the Nest thermostat. Is there a way to have it execute my sleep trigger cmd? Right now I have to say "Alexa, ask trigger command to run sleep on main computer" but ideally I could bundle that into the good night routine. Is there anyway to accomplish this?

Using custom commands with Alexaposted in General DiscussionWith Google Home I can program a custom command such as "OK Google, pause show" and it will run the command on my Google Home: "Ask trigger command to pause show on tv computer". Trigger command then runs a simple batch file that presses the space bar and pauses the show. Is there a way to do this with Alexa? I've tried the Alexa Blueprints Q&A and when instead of Alexa executing "Ask trigger command to show on tv computer" she simply responds with that message. I know I can say "Alexa ask trigger command to pause show on tv" but that is much longer than just "pause show". Any suggestions?

Customize invocation term?posted in General DiscussionI'm guessing this is prevented by Alexa's APIs, but is it possible to change the invocation phrase to something shorter, such as just "trigger"?
