      I'm attempting to try this out, and the squirrel installer crashes on Windows 7 and Windows 10.

        @HD, thank you for telling me, and for the log and screenshot. I haven't seen that error before. Based on the log, it looks like you might have a 32bit Windows OS.

        Will you please run this in a cmd prompt?

        echo %PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE%

        If it says AMD64, then you have a 64bit Windows OS, so that's not the problem.

        If you do have a 64bit Windows OS, you could try these things:

        1. Install this older version in case I created a bug.
        2. Install DirectX because that error in the screenshot is about DirectX.

          @Russ

          Sorry if I was a bit abrupt. Was stuck in a hot office with a broken AC all day 😀

          Yes, both machines were 32bit. A win7 box and a win10. I will spin up a 64bit system tomorrow and give this a shot.

          I didn't see a requirement for 32/64 and didn't expect such an application to be written in 64 but alas here we are.

            @HD, great. I'm glad that was it. I know I need to do a 32bit version. It's on my list.

              @jános-tarcsa, actually I did make an agent that works on any 32bit windows newer than Windows XP.

              It doesn't have a GUI, but it works.
