    Hello,

I'm trying to install this on a Windows 7 PC and it keeps giving the error "Installation Has Failed". When i try and install it i get a green box with little squares moving and then the error comes up. I also have the setup log that i can send if it will help. This PC has no antivirus and very little software on it.

Can anyone help me to resolve this?

    Thanks

Although.... I can't install the background service because it seems to think i have the wrong bit version of the program even though its 32bit program running on 32 bit system. Is this required?

I keep the PC on all the time anyway.

@Electrophile, you apparently have a 32bit version of Windows 7. I haven't tested that myself, so it's interesting you were able to get the foreground agent working using this 32 bit agent.

I'm pretty sure I know why you're getting that error installing the background service. The node.exe that's bundled with that 32bit agent is a 64bit version. I could easily fix that.

If I can find a 32bit version of Windows 7 or maybe a Win2008 x86 non-R2 version, I'll try again to build a 32bit version. I don't think it will work with Windows XP though because I've read that Electron is not supported on WinXP, and the GUI portion of the TRIGGERcmd again is built on Electron.

Anyway, stay tuned, this is on my todo list.

            Hi thanks for the reply.

Yes it is a 6 year old Windows 7 32 bit.

That would be great if you could get it working, it's a great piece of software and i will be subscribing once I get it all fully set up.

Thanks, @Electrophile. Today's project is to enable the ability to pass command parameters via API. After that I'll work on the 32bit Windows agent.

Now there's a better way to run the agent on a 32bit version of Windows:
