So I have been searching around on the forum looking for instructions on how to get my PC to wake up through Alexa. I have magic packages enabled on my PC, and Alexa is connected. She can run commands while the PC is on, but when I try to wake up the PC from sleep, nothing happens. I am decent with technology, but nowhere near as good as you, I was wandering if there is some other things I should try? Or did Windows finally throw all BIOS operations down there deep hole of startups?

Also, I have a Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller #2 for my Network adapter, a AMD FX-8250 Eight-Core Processor, that does not currently have a WIFI adapter. Could that be the issue? I was thinking it might be, since the commands can be ran through the Ethernet, but when the PC is asleep the Ethernet port stops. Any help would be great, and I am sorry for the long post or if this is a silly noob question.

      Thanks!

Good question @gingerslayer113. You have to turn the computer on by running a command on another computer on your network. Do you have a Raspberry Pi, Mac, or PC on your network that's always turned on? I use the same Raspberry Pi that opens and closes my garage to turn on my PC. Trigger CMD runs a command on my Pi that sends a magic packet to my PC's nic that turns the PC on.

@gingerslayer113 (or whom it may concern)
I've used automagic4android(.com) bc of its scripting ability, so this looked quite interesting to me:
            Google Home WOL Configuration -

Similar to a4a looks MacroDroid, and, bc also mentioned within the above video: Tasker

            Good luck 👍
