Sorry for bad english but I need help. I have 3 Alexa devices, Echo, PC app and Android app.

      Echo have Japanese
      PC have English
      Mobile have Japanese (just voice)
My website of Alexa have English and Japanese (history used commands is in Japanese)

If I use EchoJP and MobileJP and tell "turn on notepad", they don't know this command or they can't find device etc.. But in English and PC app don't have with it problem. Echo in japanese listening even english commands but no for TriggerCMDs (I tested 2 version of TC).

Is for JP any japanese command needed?

      Thanks for response

@lunatic I did find Japanese command 「アレクサ、電卓をオンにして」`Arekusa, dentaku o on ni shite' but for non-native speaker is it little hard. Is possible add english command too?

@lunatic, I'm happy to have a Japanese user. I think you might be the first Japanese user to post on the forum. I'd like to try to make it work well for Japanese users, so I appreciate the feedback.

When you successfully ran calculator using, "Arekusa, dentaku o on ni shite", what was the voice word for your calculator command? Was it dentaku? I'm curious.

Tonight I will do some research to find out if you can somehow enable the English version of the TRIGGERcmd Smart Home skill on an Echo device setup with the Japanese language. I think that's what you want to do. I'll get back to you soon.

@russ I'm learning Japanese (I'm from Czech Republic, if you want know), I using Alexa as practice tool.

I learned using "Arekusa, dentaku o on ni shite" or too "Arekusa, o on ni shite" where after it Alexa asking on command ("dentaku").

In TC program I have in voice command "電卓" because "dentaku" don't work.

And yes I want using english commands with Japanese-setuped Echo because still any Japanese words is little hard for me.

I wanted using 上 [Ue]= "Up", 下 [shita]= "Down" but Alexa have problem recognize commands... In English version "Up" and "Down" working great. And on Japanese Echo "Up" and "Down" don't work...

...But Thank you very much for great work and interest in this problem

@lunatic, I researched and found you can not chose a language for specific skills. You chose a language per Echo device.

Basically, if you can say something in Japanese that means "turn on X" or "turn off X" where X is the voice word for the command, it should work.
