I can't link the triggercmd skill with the alexa

I can't link the triggercmd skill with the alexa app on my android phone, it says my alexa app has to be atualized or reinstalled, ive done both but non of them works

@Mateus-Costa, will you please try linking the skills from the Amazon page instead of from the Alexa app?

BTW, I recommend the Smart Home skill unless you have a specific reason to use the TRIGGERcmd skill.

Also, if you haven't tried upgrading your Alexa app, please try that first.

@Russ thanks for the support, ive reached the link you sent and it cannot help me cause Im from Brazil. Anyway, i tryed to link the skills from the amazon home page, but it said i should try from the app, and dennied the linking progress. I think it might be a region problem, ive seen others with the same problem within the last weeks, do you know anything about it?

@Mateus-Costa, thank you for reporting this problem, and for testing because I can't reproduce it here.

When you say you've seen others with the same problem within the last weeks, do you mean other Alexa skills are having the same problem?

Also, can you confirm you can't link any of the TRIGGERcmd skills, including the "TRIGGERcmd Smart Home" and "TC" skills?

I'm trying to think of how I can simulate coming from Brazil so I can reproduce the issue. I tried using NordVPN to come from Brazil, but it linked fine for me.

I also opened a ticket with Alexa support on this.

Please let me know if it starts working.

@Russ Same problem here, but when i try link on amazon.com say "You are not eligible to enable this skill due to geographical restrictions.", change my address and nothing, can u help me ?

@Petter-Cardoso, where in the world do you live? I didn't know there were any geographic restrictions. I'll look into it.

Hi @Russ I live in Brazil, I don't know why but I tried again now and it worked, I don't know if you did something but anyway thanks for responding and trying to help me, you asked him up there to test it on the other Triggercmd, if you still need it I can try if it helps you.

@Petter-Cardoso, thank you for telling me it's working. I didn't do anything, so maybe it was a temporary problem on Amazon's side.

If you're not using the TRIGGERcmd Smart Home skill, I recommend switching to it, or at least try it to see if you like it better. I find that it works better. And you say, "Alexa, turn on Calculator" to run a command instead of the longer sentance, "Alexa, ask TRIGGERcmd to run Calculator."
