    Would this be helpful?

The idea is to provide a list sort of like the one this, but only include your computer/trigger combos that have voice words, in this format:

Alexa, ask TRIGGERcmd to run calculator on downstairs
Alexa, ask TRIGGERcmd to run notepad on downstairs
Alexa, ask TRIGGERcmd to run reboot on downstairs
Alexa, ask TRIGGERcmd to run russ on garage
Alexa, ask TRIGGERcmd to run betsy on garage
    ...

    EDIT 10/14/17: This is done.

Yes this would be awesome! I would like to disable or override Alexas voice and only hear what I want it to say. For example, when my Smarthings sensor on my front door is triggered, my computer will say "front door is open". I have a whole house audio system that I control with my computer. Monoprice Zone amp. I also have software someone built that I can control the 12 zones... My goal here is to have things happen in the house and the house starts talking back (via my computer) I had this all set up years ago with x10 ... but now I am going all to z wave and smarthings. I am novice but follow instructions well. 🙂

@Nate-Hales, ok, I'll add a printable list of Alexa commands to the todo list. Thanks for the feedback.

I used to use x10 too back in the day.. This new stuff is way better.

Let me know what I can do toward your goal. I'd probably use nircmd for text-to-speech.

thanks for the nircmd recommendation. I will check it out. I wonder if this forum shows up in google searches ? I only found you by searching triggers in alexa. So glad I did!

@Nate-Hales, did a quick google search and found one of the topics that have been around a while, so apparently they're indexing it.
