<p dir="auto">It looks like Jenkins gives you a command-line tool that can run jobs.</p>
<p dir="auto">EDIT:  I tried it out and it works pretty well.  My command looks like this:</p>
java -jar jenkins-cli.jar -s http://localhost:8080 -http -auth admin:PASSWORD build MyJob -v -s

<p dir="auto">Also, I downloaded the jenkins-cli.jar from my own Jenkins server with this command:</p>
wget http://localhost:8080/jnlpJars/jenkins-cli.jar
